The Ajit Agarkar-led Indian Senior Men’s Selection Committee announced India’s limited-overs squads for the upcoming three ODIs and five T20Is against Australia in October and November 2025.

In an interesting turn of events, Shubman Gill has been appointed as the new ODI captain, while Shreyas Iyer has been named his deputy. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have returned to international cricket since the successful ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign. 

On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah has been rested for the ODI series after being part of the Asia Cup 2025 and India vs West Indies Test series. Also, KL Rahul has been named as the first-choice keeper with Dhruv Jurel being the backup keeper. 

In the T20I squad, Nitish Kumar Reddy replaced the injured all-rounder Hardik Pandya, while the remaining squad remains the same from the successful Asia Cup 2025 campaign. On that note, let’s take a look at the squads and the tour schedule.
