BCCI central contracts: Full list of Indian players and their salaries

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the player central contracts with star cricketers Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja being in the topmost grade.

On the other hand, middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer has been demoted to Grade B after missing out on domestic cricket last season. Also, Ishan Kishan, the explosive batter, slipped to Grade C. Notably, Kishan took a break from international cricket recently.

It’s important to note that the annual player central contracts are applicable from October 1 last year to September 30 this year. Varun Chakaravarthy, who played an important role in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, earned the contract while Ravi Ashwin exited from the list following his international retirement.

Grade A+ cricketers will earn INR 7 crore while Grade A will make INR 5 crore. Moreover, Grade B players will earn INR 3 crore, with Grade C players earning INR 1 crore.

Importantly, for cricketers to be eligible for the contracts, they should play at least three Tests, eight ODIs, and 10 T20Is in a year. Varun Chakaravarthy made it to Grade C after his heroics while Harshit Rana, Abhishek Sharma, and Nitish Kumar Reddy have earned their contracts for the first time.
