Baroda Women’s cricket team met with an accident, 4 injured including team manager

Senior Women’s T20 League is being played in the Indian domestic circuit. The tournament will consist of a total of 129 games this season and Bengaluru will host the final of the tournament.

In a shocking piece of news regarding the tournament, Baroda Women’s Cricket Team has met a bus accident recently after being hit by a lorry. The reports have learned that 4 cricketers have sustained injuries including the team manager. Although, it was also confirmed later that the injuries are not much severe, and all the wounded individuals are safe.

The official Twitter handle of Female Cricket has confirmed this news. Notably, Baroda is placed in the Group C of the tournament. They started their campaign in the 2022 edition with the first match against Vidarbha on the 11^th of October. After enduring two consecutive defeats, Baroda finally managed to find the winning ways with a win against Pondicherry. But unfortunately lost to Mumbai in the further match.

Eventually, Baroda ended the league stage with two wins against Bengal and Saurashtra. A total of 37 teams are participating in this year's edition of the tournament. These teams are divided into five groups. The top-ranked team in the group will make it straight to the quarterfinals and teams who will end up as runners-up will be counted on 6-10 later.

The League stage of the tournament will conclude tomorrow October 22. Whereas the knock-out round of the tournament will be played from October 30 to November 5 next month.
