BAN-W vs GUJ-W Dream11 (Source-Twitter)
The 2024 Women’s Premier League is already into its 5th game of the season. It is set to be a huge game as Royal Challengers Bangalore take on Gujarat Giants. The two teams come into the game on the back of contrasting starts to the season. Cricket fans are set to witness an epic clash as the biggest names in Women’s cricket take the field on Tuesday.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (BAN-W) began the season with a close win against UP Warriorz. Sobhana Asha did the star turn with the ball as she became the first-ever Indian to scalp a fifer in WPL history. Smriti Mandhana was a relieved skipper as her team got out of jail and registered a win.
Gujarat Giants (GUJ-W) meanwhile, began the season with a loss to Mumbai Indians on Sunday. Amelia Kerr, Shabnim Ismail, and Harmanpreet Kaur led the charge with the bat and ball in what was an easy win. The batting was a huge letdown for Beth Mooney with Tanuja Kanwar ending up as the lead scorer. The Giants who had made terrific investments during the WPL Auctions will hope the team stages a quick turnaround.

Pitch Report
As expected the dew is having its say during the chase with bowlers finding it difficult to grip the ball. This will encourage the captain to win the toss to bowl first and restrict the opposition with the ball. Shreyanka Patil and Sobhana Asha will fancy their chances after Gujarat’s below-par batting performance against Mumbai Indians. For the Gujarat side, Sneh Rana will be a key bowler during the clash on Tuesday.
