Speaking from the point of view of the men in blue, then they choked once again in the death overs and lost to the visitors by a margin of four wickets in the curtain raiser of the series. Indian fans were not looking happy with some of the decisions from the skipper Rohit Sharma.

They took to Twitter for criticizing a couple of decisions taken by him at the crucial juncture of the match. Giving the 19th over once again Bhuvneshwar Kumar was like something which really didn’t go down well with the Indian fans.

Here’s how fans reacted to the captaincy of Rohit Sharma:

Speaking of the match, the Indian team faced two early blows as they lost two early wickets in the form of skipper Rohit Sharma and senior batter Virat Kohli only on the score of 35 runs. It was the time when another opener KL Rahul took the charge with star batter Suryakumar Yadav. They both stitched a partnership of 68 runs for the third wicket.

KL Rahul played a vital knock of 55 runs alongside the quick 46-run knock from SKY. Other than these two batters, star all-rounder, Hardik Pandya stunned everyone with his swashbuckling knock of 71 runs off just 30 balls. On the backs of these knocks, India managed to post a decent and big total of 208 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

While chasing the target, Australians crossed the line in 19.2 overs and scored 211 runs in 19.2 overs. Eventually, they won the match by four wickets. Young batter Cameron Green impressed everyone with his stunning knock of 61 runs off just 30 balls with eight boundaries and four sixes to his name.
