After the WTC final, Kohli was seen attending the Krishna Das Kirtan show in London along with Anushka. Those images and videos also went viral. Recently on, Kohli also completed 12 years in the longest format of the game. So, he shared a post on social media platforms with the caption: “12 years in test cricket today. Forever grateful.” He made his Test debut on 20 June against West Indies at Kingston. Till now, he has played 109 Tests and in 185 innings, he has scored 8479 runs, at an average of 48.72. Kohli has smashed 28 fifties and centuries each so far.

Recently, during an interview on the Nadir Ali podcast, the former Pakistan cricketer, Ahmad Shehzad claimed that his best is yet to come. He said: “We share a mutual respect for each other. Whenever I need any advice regarding cricket, he has been kind (to help me out). I really respect him as a player. He took India to new heights in Test cricket. I haven't seen someone who has adapted so quickly. I feel his best is yet to come. He has changed himself dramatically. When he burst onto the scene during the U-19 World Cup, he was a bit chubby. But the way he has transformed himself, not just from the cricketing aspect is commendable.”
