Babar Azam gets engaged to his cousin - Reports

Ahead of the second leg of PSL, the news of Pakistan skipper Babar Azam exchanging rings with his cousin is doing rounds in the Pakistan media. It is reported that the couple will tie the knot next year.

As per a report in Geo News Urdu, all his Pakistan teammates knew about Babar's engagement. Pakistan Test star Azhar Ali also hinted about Babar's engagement a few days ago. In a Q& A session, Azhar was asked to say some words about Babar Azam to which the right-hand batsman hilariously asked him to get married.

Babar is currently serving quarantine in Abu Dhabi and will be looking to take Karachi Kings to the title glory when the PSL resume. The tournament is likely to get underway from June 9. Karachi had a decent first leg of the T20 league and won three out of their five games. They are placed at the helm of the points table.

The 'Men in Green' will depart for England for a limited-over series, on June 22, soon after the PSL. Post that they are set to host England, New Zealand and Afghanistan before flying to India for the T20 World Cup. Post taking charge as the all format skipper, Babar has taken Pakistan to series wins over South Africa and Zimbabwe.
