Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has leapfrogged England’s Dawid Malan to become the No 1 T20I batter. Babar has lit up the 20-20 World Cup with an outstanding display of batsmanship. Pakistan have enjoyed a magnificent run in the showpiece event so far and Babar has played a pivotal role in taking the team to four consecutive wins. He is the third-highest run-scorer in the tournament with 199 runs in 4 games at an average of 66, including two half-centuries against Afghanistan and Namibia.

Meanwhile, another team that has done splendidly well in the tournament is England. Despite being placed in a tough group, the team is yet to lose a game and have cemented their berth in the semifinals.
