Speaking to reporters after the match, Pandya said that he will make a comeback in the longest format of the game when he will think that the time is right. He said: "I will come (back) when I feel (it's) the right time to play Test-match cricket. Right now, I'm going to focus on white-ball cricket, which is important, and if time is right and body is fine, I'll give (the long format) a try.” Hardik last played a Test match for India against England at Southampton in 2018. But, fans found such comments very arrogant and slammed the star Indian all-rounder on social media platforms.
