He scored 1,399 runs in 35 innings at an average of 42.39 and a strike rate of 114.29, including five half-centuries and four centuries. In women’s cricket, Australia made history by completing a 16-0 clean sweep in the multi-format Ashes series, marking the first time a team failed to earn a single point. Annabel Sutherland played a crucial role, particularly in the one-off pink-ball Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), and was honoured with the Belinda Clark Award.

She scored 615 runs across all three formats in 2024, cementing her place as one of the most consistent performers. Veteran batter Beth Mooney, known for her reliability in T20s, was named the Women's T20I Player of the Year after scoring 494 runs in 17 innings.
