Virat Kohli hit only one six while Shubman Gill hit one: Tom Moody

Meanwhile, Kohli's RCB lost their must-win game against Gujarat Titans in the ongoing IPL 2023. The Delhi-born scored his second consecutive hundred and helped his side reach 197/5. However, this wasn't enough as Shubman Gill, via his second consecutive hundred, helped his team chase down the target in just 19.1 overs.

After this, former Sunrisers Hyderabad head coach, Tom Moody analysed both Kohli and Gill's innings. The former Australia pacer pointed out that Kohli hit only one six while Gill hit eight.

โ€œHe is such a delight to watch. He is so composed at the crease. You look at his facial expression and his body language, he looks so much in control. He has got the game. Eight sixes! That was the difference in the two hundreds. Both were brilliant hundreds. But Kohli only hit one six. Gill hit eight of them and was batting at a strike rate of 200. That's a significant difference. And that coming in a chase, hats off to him,โ€ he said.
