Rinku Singh, arguably the best finisher in IPL 2023, delivered a spectacular performance in Kolkata Knight Rider's final game of the year. The KKR long-bowler endured yet another incredible blow as LSG defeated the Kolkata teams by one run to advance to the playoffs. In addition to scoring a magnificent fifty, Rinku Singh's biggest moment of the innings was a 110-meter six off Naveen ul Haq.

The 25-year-old hitter, who has no trouble smashing sixes, slammed a magnificent fifty off just 27 balls against KKR, who were chasing the mark furiously. In terms of striking the longest sixes, Faf du Plessis went on to hit the longest six of IPL 2023, measuring 115 metres. A monstrous 110-meter six from Rinku Singh also comes near.

Gautam Gambhir was all-praises for Rinku Singh

Impressively, Rinku Singh crushed the six to reach his fifty. Rinku Singh saw a back-of-length ball and was positioned directly in Naveen ul Haq's slot. The ball vanished into the starry sky after making good contact with the bat. As the young batter raises his bat to accomplish his fifty-run milestone, a booming six that landed into the Eden Gardens stands is hit.

Rinku Singh continued his rampage to thrill the spectators at Eden Gardens while still being undefeated on 67 from 33 balls. He scored six fours and four sixes while batting with a strike rate of 203 to keep the home team in the running for a major victory over LSG.

After the game, Gambhir spoke with Rinku and uploaded a photo of them on Twitter, praising the KKR player. "What an effort Rinku made today", he wrote. "Sensational talent!" Along with Gambhir, both of the IPL 2023 captains had nothing but admiration for Rinku's performance in the game and overall performance.

Feels like all 14 matches; I've spoken about Rinku. I am personally very happy for him (Rinku), and I don't really have words to describe about him because the entire world has seen what he can do on a cricket field," said KKR captain Nitish Rana.
