Rajasthan Royals (RR) are reportedly looking to offer a 4-year deal worth crores of rupees to their star batter and England’s White-ball skipper, Jos Butter. Buttler plays for RR in the IPL while he also represents Paarl Royals in the SA20 tournament. However, he is yet to play for Barbados Royals in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Reports also suggested that nothing has been official and the offer is yet to be formally tabled. There is no such clarity if Buttler will or not accept the offer. Listening to such reports, fans shared their views on social media. Apart from him, several England players were already been contacted for such lucrative offers from different franchises.

Jason Roy turned down the central contract recently and finalised his move to the LA Knight Riders in the upcoming Major League Cricket (MLC). This team is owned by the same management group of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Then, Mumbai Indias (MI) reportedly offer Jofra Archer a deal. That deal will allow him to play in different leagues like SA20, ILT20, and MLC for their respective teams. Such deals will create chaos as central boards of countries will need permission for their availability during mega events like the World Cup.

Speaking of Buttler, he won the Orange Cap for scoring the most runs (863 in 17 matches) in the IPL 2022. His form helped RR to reach the final. Although, they eventually lost the match against Gujarat Titans (GT). However, he had a disappointing 2023 season as he scored 392 runs in 14 matches, at an average of 28 and a strike rate of 139.01. He smashed four fifties but also added an unwanted record to his name. Buttler managed five ducks throughout the tournament. Currently, he is busy playing the ongoing T20 Blast for Lancashire. In eight matches, he has scored 281 runs, at an average of 35.12 and a strike rate of 151.89.
