After losing the series opener in Nagpur, Australia were looking to win the second game in Delhi. India won the first game by an inning and 132 runs. On 17 February 2023, the second game began. However, all Indian bowlers like Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Mohammed Shami had a great game.
Jadeja took five wickets in the first innings while Ashwin managed five in the second Innings. Mohammed Shami took three wickets in that match. Speaking of this second Test, Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bat first. Ravichandran Ashwin and Shami got involved in a funny incident during that innings.

India bundled out Australia for 263 runs in the first innings
Speaking of the incident, it took place after Australia’s ninth wicket as Mohammed Shami took the wicket of Nathan Lyon. It was the second delivery of the 75th over Australia’s innings. Shami rattled the off-stump. After that, Ravichandran Ashwin was seen pulling Shami’s ears while celebrating the dismissal. Fans found the video funny and it went viral instantly. Even, Cricket Australia shared the same image on their official Twitter account with a caption: “What’s going on here then #INDvAUS”. In reply to that tweet, fans came up with some funny tweets and memes.
Speaking of day one of the Test, Australia got bundled out for 263 runs in 78.4 overs. In response to that, the Men in Blue finished the day after scoring 21 runs in nine overs without losing any wickets. For India, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets each. Mohammed Shami was the star of the show as he took four wickets for 60 runs in 14.4 overs. For the Aussies, Usman Khawaja scored 81 runs off 125 balls while Peter Handscomb scored 72* runs off 142 balls. Apart from them, skipper Pat Cummins scored 33 runs off 59 balls, including three fours and two sixes. Both Labuschagne and Smith failed once again in this match.
