Talking about cricket, SKY has played only two matches out of the six matches, India played in the tournament. In these two matches, he has scored 2 and 49 runs against New Zealand and England, respectively. It was quite unfortunate for him as he got run-out in the match against the Kiwis due to a confusion and misunderstanding with Virat Kohli.

Later in his second match, against England, Surya’s crucial 49-run knock played an important role in taking India’s total to the score of 229 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

Now, the 33-year-old star batter will be in action for the men in blue in the next match of their ODI World Cup 2023 campaign. Rohit Sharma’s men will play this match against Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday, November 2.
