But, in the reverse fixture, Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly made headlines as the former RCB skipper seemed to avoid the current Director of Cricket of DC during the customary handshake after the game. Many videos also went viral where both of them were seen ignoring each other while Kohli was seen giving a wild stare at him while fielding. But, after the game in Delhi, an image went viral where Ganguly and Kohli were seen handshaking with each other.

Virat Kohli lost his Team India captaincy during Sourav Ganguly’s tenure as the President of the Indian Cricket Board
Seeing that, fans shared their views on social media. Speaking of the match, RCB batted first and scored 181 runs for four wickets in 20 overs. In reply, DC chased down the target with 20 balls and three wickets to spare. However, Phil Salt won the Player of the Match award for his match-winning knock of 87 runs off 45 balls, including eight fours and six sixes. After this loss, RCB are now in the fifth position with 10 points in 10 games. While DC are in the ninth position with eight points in 10 games.
During the post-match presentation, RCB skipper, Faf du Plessis said: "I thought we were pretty close to par. We thought 185 is a good score. But there was a little bit of dew in the second innings. But we have to give credit to their batters, they played really well. The pressure their batters put on the spinners led to some mistakes. We didn't maximise out innings. At about 12 overs, we felt like 185 was a par score. Obviously you like to have one of those big overs to take you to 200, which would have been a good score.”
