After a healthy break from cricket post the 20-20 World Cup, India skipper Virat Kohli returned to training at the Cricket Club of India in Mumbai. Kohli, who skipped the T20I series against New Zealand, will join the team for the second and final Test in Mumbai. During the training session, an adorable guest, a little cat paid a visit to the skipper.
Kohli took to Instagram and posted a photo of himself with the cat sitting comfortably on his lap. "A quick hello from a cool cat at practice." he wrote as caption.

The photo went viral in no time, with people in awe of the cuteness of the little cat. Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma also reacted to the post and wrote, "Hello Billi." Kohli gave a hilarious response to Anushka's comment and wrote, "Launda from Dilli and Mumbai ki Billi (Guy from Delhi with a cat from Mumbai)."
Meanwhile, having given up the T20I captaincy, Kohli will look to focus more on his batting. He will also be hoping to end his century drought and get the monkey off his back ahead of the important tour of South Africa. After the New Zealand Tests, India will tour South Africa for a multi-format series.
India- New Zealand series kicks off on November 25 at Kanpur, while the second Test will be played in Mumbai from December 3. India had defeated New Zealand 3-0 in the recently concluded T20I series. However, with big guns back, expect the Kiwis to be far more competitive. New Zealand have never won a Test series in India.
