The stage is getting ready at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore for the 70th clash of the ongoing IPL. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will take on the defending champion, Gujarat Titans (GT). GT have already qualified for the playoffs while RCB will look to win this game to seal their place in the top four.

But, ahead of this mega clash, an image has now gone viral where fans witnessed that heavy rain was happening in Bengaluru. However, there is a forecast of rain even on match day. So, RCB fans were not happy and shared their views on social media. If the game gets postponed, then they could be out of the competition.

RCB will look to win their eighth game of the season in this ongoing IPL

On 20 May, CSK defeated DC in Delhi and sealed their place in the top four with 17 points in 14 games. After that, LSG took on KKR at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. However, both Mumbai Indians (MI), and RCB are in the race with 14 points in 13 games. So, a win in their respective last games will take these teams to 16 points. While LSG were also looking for a win to reach 17 points. But, if LSG and MI win their respective games and RCB’s clash gets postponed due to rain, then RCB will be eliminated with 15 points.

Thus, GT, CSK, LSG, and MI will be the top four teams for this season. Speaking of this rivalry between RCB and GT, both of them have played two games so far in IPL. Both games took place in IPL 2022. Meanwhile, both teams won one game each so far. However, it will be the first time when these teams will face each other at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. So, fans will hope for another high-scoring match between these teams due to small boundaries and flat, batting-friendly pitch.
