But, he went for 51 runs in his four overs while taking just one wicket. So, fans were not happy with the performance of Tushar Deshpande. So, all eyes were on MS Dhoni if he considers the bowler again in the second game. However, Despnade again came in as an impact player in the match in place of Ambati Rayudu.

Tushar Deshpande conceded 18 runs in his first over against Lucknow

Speaking of Tushar Deshpande, he has become an integral part of the franchise in the currently available bowling unit. He has got the opportunity to support Deepak Chahar in the bowling lineup. But, he has failed miserably so far in the tournament. In the match against Lucknow, Chennai scored 217 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. Ambati Rayudu scored 27* runs off 14 balls, including two fours and two sixes. But, MS Dhoni again brought the pacer into the lineup as an impact by substituting Rayudu.

For Lucknow, Kyle Mayers and KL Rahul came out to open the innings. Both of them gave a solid start as they scored 38 runs in three overs. They tore apart both Deepak Chahar and Ben Stokes in those overs. Then, Tushar Deshpande came up to bowl the fourth over and conceded 18 runs. He even bowled two no-balls and three wides in the same over. Seeing that, fans went crazy and shared their views on the social media platform. Some fans also claimed that this match should be the last one for him for this franchise. Lucknow finally scored 80 runs for just one wicket in the first six overs as Mayers scored 53 runs off 22 balls, including eight fours and two sixes.
