In a recent piece of news, participating teams have arrived Dubai for the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 commencing on the 27th of August tomorrow (Saturday). Following that, there is a high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan on the 28th of August at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Recently, Pakistani skipper Babar Azam and senior Indian batter Virat Kohli met and greeted each other after reaching Dubai. Recently, Pakistan Cricket Board posted a video on their official Twitter handle. In this video, ace speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi can be seen meeting the Indian players at the ICC Academy Ground.

Notably, Afridi has been ruled out of the entire Asia Cup 2022 due to the knee injury that he sustained during the Test series against Sri Lanka back in the month of July.

Although, the video of Afridi meeting Indian players including the likes of Yuzvendra Chahal, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, and KL Rahul didn’t go down well with the Indian fans and they started trolling them for meeting the Pakistani player being so over-friendly. Rishabh Pant can be seen laughing and sharing some very heartily and light moments with the 22-year-old.

In the same video uploaded by PCB, Indian selectors and former veteran spinner Suni Joshi can be seen meeting Pakistani head coach Saqlain Mushtaq alongside batting coach former legendary batter Mohammad Yousuf.

Earlier, Virat Kohli fell prey to the anger of Indian cricket fans

Earlier, the fans went on to troll Virat Kohli for meeting Babar Azam just after reaching Dubai. They said that Virat did all this for maintaining his fan base and to gain meager popularity.

Coming to the match between India and Pakistan, then both teams will be playing first time since the last encounter at T20 World Cup 2021. In that match, Pakistan won the match in a style with a massive margin of 10 wickets. So, Indians will be eyeing to clear off their account with the men in green. Whereas Babar & co will be looking for the second consecutive win against India in a major international tournament.
