Gujarat franchise bought Deandra Dottin for INR 60 Lakhs for the Women’s T20 League 2023

For the inaugural edition of the tournament, the Gujarat franchise bought her for INR 60 Lakhs. Her base price was INR 40 Lakhs. But, now the star Caribbean all-rounder wrote: 'Get Well Soon from what may I asked,’ while replying to a ‘Get well soon’ message on Instagram. Even on Twitter, Deandra Dottin wrote: "I really appreciate all the messages but truth be told I’m recovering from nothing but the Holy Ghost anointing thank you." Speaking about the T20I career of Dottin, she has played 127 matches while scoring 2697 runs with two centuries and 12 fifties.

But, she announced her retirement from international cricket for West Indies during the Commonwealth Games 2022 while representing Barbados. On the other hand, Kim Garth was a part of Australia that won the recently concluded Women’s 20-20 World Cup in South Africa. However, she only played two warm-up matches before the World Cup as she recently shifted to Australia from Ireland. But, hearing such a statement from the Caribbean all-rounder, fans became confused and claimed that controversy arrived even earlier than the start of the tournament.
