Day six of the Abu Dhabi T10 League saw two matches being played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium. The first match saw New York Strikers take on Morrisville Samp Army, while Northern Warriors and The Chennai Braves went head-on in the second encounter of the day. Both games featured some outstanding batsmanship, with the winning teams convincingly earning two points. Here is a recap of the two matches from day six of the tournament.

Match 15- New York Strikers vs Morrisville Samp Army

The Samp Army won the toss and decided to bowl first. Strikers, on the other hand, had the perfect start to their innings, with Paul Stirling striking from the word go. He scored 34 runs in 13 balls in his short but impactful innings. After losing a few consecutive wickets, Azam Khan held the innings together, scoring 47 runs in just 21 balls. Samp Army bowlers took a few more wickets in the end, but the Strikers finished with a total of 110/8.

Moeen Ali got his team off to a fast start in the chase, scoring 42 runs in just 25 balls. However, he did not get much support from other batters. New York bowlers, on the other hand, took wickets regularly. In the end, Morrisville Samp Army scored 98/5, handing New York Strikers a 12-run win.

Match 16- The Chennai Braves vs Northern Warriors

The Northern Warriors won the toss and decided to bat first, and this decision worked out really well for them. The openers, Usman Khan and Adam Lyth, gave them the perfect start, scoring 97 runs in their partnership. While Usman was dismissed at a score of 65 runs in 24 balls, Luth remained unbeaten at 54 runs in 25 balls. Thanks to these two, the Warriors put on a massive score of 141/3.

In the chase, Chennai Brave had a slow start, with the openers not doing much. However, after their wickets, Carlos Brathwaite (27 runs in 13 balls) and James Fuller (36 runs in 16 balls) tried to resurrect their innings. While the two tried their best to get to the target, they couldn't get too close. In the end, they were restricted to 107/5, handing a 34-run victory to the Northern Warriors.
