Delhi Bulls Juggernaut finally came to a halt as Deccan Gladiators defeated them by 9 wickets. The bowling led by Andre Russell, Wanindu Hasaranga and Tymal Mills did exceptionally well to bowl out Delhi Bulls for 112 before Tom Kohler-Cadmore stroked a 19 ball half-century to take Gladiators to their second win of the tournament. He was well supported by Tom Banton, who scored 44 at a strike rate of 200. The duo added 100 runs in just 6.3 overs.

In the second game of the day, Team Abu Dhabi defeated Chennai Braves by wickets. Braves had a decent outing with the bat and posted a total of 131-2 in their 10 overs. Bhanuka Rajapaksa carried on his brilliant form and stroked yet another half-century. He was dismissed for a 29 ball 54. Angelo Perera and Dasun Shanaka gave the innings wings by playing crisp shots. Perera smashed 19 ball 32, while Shanaka made 23 from 8 balls to push the total above 130 run mark.

However, Team Abu Dhabi dwarf the total and won the match with four balls to spare. Phil Salt and Paul Stirling gave Abu Dhabi a blistering start. Salt remained not out at 63 off 28 balls, while Stirling was dismissed after making 44 of just 18 balls. Liam Livingstone provided the team with late finishes. He scored 24 off 10 balls to take the team home. Abu Dhabi has now won four games on the bounce.
