On 22 April 2023, Mumbai Indians (MI) locked horns with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the ongoing IPL. Arjun Tendulkar got another opportunity to showcase his talent. This year, he finally got the chance to represent MI. In the first two matches, he showed his composure and picked up one wicket also.
So, fans were happy to see him getting another game under his belt. Speaking of the match, Rohit Sharma won the toss and asked PBKS to bat first. Jofra Archer made a comeback in the playing XI. Arjun Tendulkar made a good start to the game as he picked up the wicket of Prabhsimran Singh in his second over.

In the first two overs, Tendulkar conceded only 17 runs with that one wicket. PBKS were also in a spot of bother as they lost four wickets for 83 runs in 9.4 overs. Then, PBKS skipper Sam Curran came out to bat. He settled the ship along with Harpreet Singh as they reached 118 runs in 15 overs. Then, Rohit Sharma showed faith in Arjun and he came up to bowl in that 16th over. But, he got brutally smashed for 31 runs. Speaking of the over, Curran hit him for six on the first delivery followed by a wide.
Then, in the second ball, he got smashed for a four. In the next ball, Curan took a single. Then, in the fourth and fifth ball, Harpreet hit one four and six respectively. On the last delivery, he hit another four but it was a beamer. So, it turned out to be a no-ball. Then, on that extra delivery, again Arjun got hit for a four. Seeing such poor bowling, fans went crazy and shared their views on social media. Hence, Arjun Tendulkar finished this match with a spell of one wicket for 48 runs in three overs. PBKS scored 214 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs.
