‘Abe ye kya boldia’- Twitter bursts out laughing as Pakistan sports journalist writes ‘hoe’ instead of ‘Hope’ in response to female Journalist’s tweet

The Pakistan-based veteran sports journalist Mirza Iqbal Baig is on the receiving end of trolls on social media. It all happened after his response to a tweet posted by London-based sports journalist Sonia Twigg who recently visited Pakistan to cover the Test series between the hosts and the England cricket team.

Notably, the three lions visited Pakistan for a Test series after a long gap of 17 years since their last tour in the year 2005. Just before the commencement of the series between two cricketing heavyweights, a London-based sports journalist Sonia Twigg went on to upload her picture from the stadium. She expressed her happiness after reaching Pakistan and subsequently hailed the hospitality she received from the Pakistani people.

“Delighted to be in Pakistan for my first England cricket tour. I am also very proud to become (I think!) the first woman from PA to go on tour with the England cricket team, and one of a very small group to do so at all,” reads the caption of the tweet posted by Sonia on her official Twitter handle.

Reacting to Sonia’s tweet, Pakistan’s renowned sports journalist Mirza Iqbal Baig took to the comment section of the tweet. But he ended up misspelling the word ‘hope’ as ‘hoe’ in his comment. The eagle-eyed fans didn’t take too long in noticing the same. Later on, they took to Twitter to mock the Baig.

Here’s Sonia Twigg’s post followed by Mirza Iqbal Baig’s comment:
