Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam played a sensational knock of 161 runs in 280 deliveries in the first Test match against New Zealand. However, he wasn't present on the field in the first two sessions on day 3 of the Test match. As per reports, Babar Azam, along with Salman Agha and Shan Masood were down with flue.

Mohammad Rizwan, who was dropped from the first Test, took the field as a substitute. However, what took everyone by surprise was that Rizwan was seen leading the side as well in his Babar's absence.

The Pakistan opening batter was seen changing the field and moving the fielders around without being part of the playing XI. Later, umpires told Rizwan that no substitute fielder can lead a team as per the rules. Sarfaraz Ahmed took over the leadership duties.

A funny incident took place in the 53rd over of the innings. Devon Conway was trapped leg-before while he was trying to play a flick off his backfoot. However, the umpire adjudged that not-out. The Pakistan fielders then had a discussion and both Rizwan and Sarfaraz signaled for the DRS, leaving the fans in splits. A video of that particular incident has also been getting viral on social media.

Babar Azam, later, got back on the field in the third session of the day and led the side for the rest of the day. Meanwhile, fans took this as an opportunity to troll Mohammad Rizwan and Pakistan cricket. Here's a look at some of the reactions:

Earlier, Pakistan notched a gigantic score of 438 runs in the first innings, thanks to centuries from Babar Azam and Salman Afgha and a valuable half-century from Sarfaraz Ahmed. New Zealand, in reply, have batted brilliantly and now have the upper hand in the game. At the end of day 3 of the Test match, New Zealand have managed to score 440 runs for the loss of 6 wickets, taking a 2-run lead.

Kane Williamson broke his century drought as he raised his 25th century in Test cricket and fifth against Pakistan.
