The stage was set on 29 May 2023 for the final of the 16th edition of IPL that took place at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) took on Gujarat Titans (GT) and they managed a five-wicket win. Devon Conway won the Player of the Match award for scoring 47 runs.

But, after the win, a video has now gone viral where the Bollywood actors, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan were seen celebrating the victory of CSK over GT while in the stands. Seeing that, fans went crazy and shared their views on social media. Both of them attended the match to promote their upcoming movie ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.’

However, some fans came up with some funny tweets as Sara Ali Khan often gets linked with GT’s Shubman Gill. So, seeing her celebrating the GT’s loss against CSK, fans were in shock. Speaking about the match, GT batted first and scored 214 runs for four wickets in 20 overs. In reply, due to rain, the target got revised to 171 runs in 15 overs for CSK. On the last delivery, they chased down the target with five wickets in the bag. Shubman Gill scored 39 runs off 20 balls and finished the tournament with 890 runs as the highest run-scorer. He also became the most valuable player in the tournament.

After the loss, Gill said: “Means a lot. The hard work that I've put in is going in the right direction for me. I think it was very important to start well and I started well. By the business end of the tournament, I converted the starts into big ones. I practiced a lot of and I changed my technique a little bit for the death. The SRH hundred was about control and the MI was knowing the situation and taking on the opposition. For any batsman, it was important to anticipate and I did that.”
