Earlier, the Indian Cricket Board secretary Jay Shah happened to post a tweet lauding Prithvi for his historic triple century against Assam in the Elite Group B match.

The Indian team will play under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya in the three-match T20I series against New Zealand starting on the 27^th of January in the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi. Apart from that, star Indian batting sensation Suryakumar Yadav will be there in the role of Hardik’s deputy in the T20I series against the Kiwis.
