Senior Pakistan-born batter made his first appearance in international cricket for Hong Kong eight years back in the year 2014. Since then, he has given some stellar contributions to the team with the bat. After playing in 32 matches, Babar Hayat has scored 758 runs with a fine average of 29.15 having a century and four half-centuries to his name.

Apart from that, he also performed well recently in the Asia Cup qualifiers by scoring 97 runs in three matches for Hong Kong with an average of more than 30. Although, he will be facing the world’s one of the best bowling attacks against India. But his records are something on the grounds of Hong Kong can count on him in this important clash.

Nizakat Khan

Belongs to the same city of Pakistan where his teammate Babar Hayat was born. Interestingly, current skipper Nizakat Khan and senior lad Babar made their T20 international debut for Hong Kong in the same match. Nizakat has appeared in 51 T20 internationals for Hong Kong since his debut.

He is now a very vital element of the team. The 30-year-old was also impressed with his batting in the qualifiers of the Asia Cup 2022 by scoring 89 runs in three matches. Considering his experience and current form, the right-hander might emerge as a headache for the team India in the match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The 31-year-old all-rounder made his international debut for Hong Kong very recently in January this year. Before that, he had an immense amount of experience in playing First-Class and List-A cricket in the domestic circuit of Pakistan. The Sialkot-based Punjabi lad has impressed everyone with both his batting and bowling capabilities.

He has scored 151 runs in seven innings of the eight matches he played so far along with 7 scalps in the same number of matches. Hong Kong is expecting him to come up with some brilliant all-round displays in the match against India. Other than that, Indians can’t take him so easily if they consider his experience in the domestic circuit and his match-winning capabilities.
