Rishabh Pant's 2025 Salary Breakdown: BCCI and IPL Earnings Revealed

Dynamic Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant is well-known for both his outstanding wicketkeeping abilities and his explosive batting style. He continues to be the X Factor for the team in all formats but he has had extraordinary success in the longest format of the game where he has played a key role in several of India's most important Test matches. Being a game-changer, Pant is praised for his daring stroke play and his capacity to perform under pressure.

He has found himself in the BCCI Central Contract list in Grade B where he receives Rs 3 crores per year. He had faced a life-threatening accident in 2022 due to which he had to be out of play for more than a year, otherwise, he would have well been in Grade A. 

He would also be receiving Rs 15 lakhs for each Test, Rs 6 lakhs for each One Day International and Rs 3 lakhs for each T20 International match that he represents India in. With the BCCI announcing that every player who plays for a minimum of 70% of Test Matches of the year that India has been scheduled to play, this amount of Rs 15 lakhs per game transforms into Rs 45 lakhs per game, which can very well be the possibility for him.

Pant has been representing and leading the side of Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League so far where he has been a terrific wicketkeeper-batter and more so of a match-winner over the years.

But this time around he was not retained by the Delhi team and when he came under the hammer, he really did make a lot of buzz as he broke all the auction records in the history of the tournament and garnered a whopping amount of Rs 27 crores as he was bought by the Lucknow Super Giants. 

So, for the year 2025, he is expected to earn a total of Rs 30 crores just from the BCCI Central Contract and his IPL fees, making him one of the highest-earning cricketers across the globe this year around.
