Following his release from jail yesterday, Andrew Tate has opened up about how his time behind bars changed his outlook. After spending more than three months in prison, "Cobra" recalled his dramatic transition upon returning to the outside world.

Tate claimed that having no distractions during his detention helped him to focus and that less than a day after being released, he still finds it difficult to use his phone. We must defeat Shaytan, an Arabic name that frequently refers to Satan, he added in his declaration.

'Since last year, I've been in 24-hour lockdown' – Andrew Tate

'Cobra' tweeted after his release: "Since last year, I've been in 24-hour lockdown. No yard time. Pacing a 3-metre cell with zero electronics or outside contact. Absolute clarity of mind. Real thoughts. Real plans. Vivid pain. One hour home, and I can't stand my phone. Some habits die hard. We must defeat Shaytan."

Andrew Tate has talked extensively about the idea that he is battling "the matrix." Many think the term "Cobra" alludes to the elite members of international organisations who keep the public in the dark. Oddly enough, The Matrix movie's release date coincided with Andrew and Tristan Tate's release from prison.

The two were first detained on the grounds of allegations that they were connected to organised crime and human trafficking but were never charged with any crimes. Public opinion on their arrest was varied; some people thought it was fair, while others opposed their detention because they had not been accused of a crime. After being released from prison, the controversial person has now addressed the media for the first time outside of their Romanian compound.

"I wanna give respect, firstly, to the judges who heard us today... there is no resentment in my heart for the country of Romania or anybody else. I believe in God, and I think that the fire of truth will eventually destroy all lies and anybody who lied... I truly believe justice will be served in the end..."
