Bollywood actor R Madhvan’s son Vedaant Madhvan bags sliver medal at Danish Open Swimming Competition

Bollywood actor R Madhvan’s son Vedaant Madhvan has, once again, made headlines as the 16-year-old won another medal for India in an international swimming competition on Friday. Vedaant Madhvan bagged a silver medal for India while competing at the Danish Open Swimming Competition, held in Copenhagen.

The Indian youngster competed in the men’s 1500m freestyle event. He clocked 15.57.86 and, thus, finished second at the event on Fridaynight. For the unversed, this is the second time when the Indian junior has bagged a medal for his country at an international swimming event.

The Star actor’s son had previous won a bronze medal at the Latvia Open in March 2021. Looking at his steep progress in the sport, Vedaant Madhvan is certainly going to bag a lot more medals for the nation and is one for the future.

The Bollywood actor was happy for his son’s achievement and expressed his delight by sharing the news on his social media handle. While sharing a clip from the facilitation ceremony, Bollywood actor thanked his son’s coach Pradeep Kumar and the swimming federation of India for their valuable support.

Besides, this isn’t the only medal India won at the event. Swimmer Sajan Prakash bagged a gold medal in the men’s 200m butterfly category. Apparently, it was his first international event and Sajan clocked 1.59.27 to finish at top on Friday. Earlier, he clocked 2.03.67 in qualify for the ‘A’ final.
