The victorious India team comprised Sudipti Hajela (riding Chinski), Hriday Vipul Chheda (riding Chemxpro Emerald), Anush Agarwalla (riding Etro), and Divyakriti Singh (riding Adrenalin Firfod). They etched their names in history by securing India's first gold medal in a Dressage event in equestrian. This victory added to the two silver medals India won in the 2018 Asian Games, marking India's fourth gold medal in equestrian at the Asian Games and their 13th overall in the event. Raghubir Singh won the Individual Eventing Gold, and India also secured gold in the Team Eventing, with Rupinder Singh Brar clinching an individual gold in tent pegging.

Following this triumph, Anush Agarwalla and his horse Etro ascended to the second spot in the individual Dressage event, which spans three days. Vipul Hriday Chheda and his horse Chemxpro Emerald currently hold the third spot in the Dressage Individual standings.
