5 WWE Superstars who married other wrestlers' sisters

Several WWE Superstars have married fellow wrestlers’ sisters over the past few years. Meanwhile, many superstars have also dated their colleagues as well. However, many of these pairs soon broke up and some pairs were such that they even got married.

Some of these women were also in-ring performers. However, others were not in the professional wrestling business. Here we will take a look at five WWE superstars who married other wrestlers’ sisters.

5. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Neidhart

Before entering professional wrestling, Jim Neidhart pursued an NFL career. He played for the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys. Nonetheless, he decided to pursue a wrestling career after his release from the Dallas Cowboys in the late 1970s.

Neidhart married Brett Hart’s sister, Elizabeth. They tied the knot in 1979 and remained together for 39 years until Neidhart passed away in 2018. Bret and Neidhart also fought against each other in some tag team matches.

4. Former WWE Champion Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan)

Bryan Danielson popularly known as Daniel Bryan dated Nikki Bella’s twin sister Brie Bella for a few years before they tied the knot in April 2014 and now they have two kids together. Brie was initially not interested in dating wrestlers but later change her mind after working with Bryan.

Bryan does not have a WWE contract, meanwhile, Brie is a Hall of Famer and Ambassador for Vince McMahon’s company. Bryan joined AEW in the year 2021.

3. WWE Hall of Famer Davey Boy Smith

Davey Boy Smith also married one of Bret Hart’s sisters. Smith lived with Bret in a small house in Calgary and met his sister Diana in 1981. In August 1985, Smith and Diana welcomed their first child. A year later, they tied the knot.

Smith joined WWE in 1984 and spent nearly four years in the company before leaving in 1988. He departed from the company in May 2000 and two years later, he passed away after suffering a heart attack.

2. WWE EVP Triple H

WWE superstar Triple H started dating Vince McMahon’s daughter and Shane McMahon’s sister Stephanie McMahon in the year 2000 when he broke up with Chyna. Bruce Prichard spoke about Shane’s reaction to his sister dating The Game:

"I don’t think Shane was happy and that’s me putting words in Shane’s mouth, but I don’t think Shane was happy at all. I think that Shane is very protective of Stephanie, very protective of his mother and if I were a betting man back then, I’d bet Shane wasn’t in favour of it, but he’s also not one of those guys who’s gonna go talk about it either," he said on the Something to Wrestle podcast.

1. WWE Hall of Famer Edge

Edge met Val Venis's 16-year-old sister, Alannah in the early 1990s and five years later again he met Alannah at a WWE event. Both dated for three years and tied the knot in 2001 but the marriage lasted for only three years as they got divorced in 2004.

Meanwhile, Edge is now married to WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix. The Rated R superstar is currently active on Monday Night RAW.
