5. Fakhar Zaman – 148 balls

During the fourth ODI against Zimbabwe in July 2018, Zaman brought up his double-century of 148 balls and helped Pakistan put on a total of 399 on board at the end of the first innings, which the Men in Green won as one could expect. 

4. Sachin Tendulkar – 147 balls

Sachin Tendulkar brought up the first-ever double century in the ODI format during the second ODI against South Africa in February 2010 at Gwalior. Notably, Tendulkar was the first person on earth to bring up a double century in the 50-over format and it came off 147 balls.

3. Virender Sehwag – 140 balls

Virender Sehwag, the former Indian opener, scored his first-ever double-century in the fourth ODI against West Indies in December 2011. On the back of his stupendous 219, India reached a massive score of 418 at the end of the first innings.

2. Chris Gayle – 138 balls

Chris Gayle holds a double century to his name and it came in the 2015 50-over World Cup against Zimbabwe. As things stand, the left-handed batter achieved the feat in just 138 balls and scored the fastest-ever double-century then. 

1. Ishan Kishan – 126 balls

Ishan Kishan, the Indian batter, scored a double century, eventually converting his first-ever international hundred into a big one. To add more, Kishan managed to gather 210 runs off 131 balls in the third ODI against Bangladesh on December 10, Saturday. Kishan became the youngest to score a 200 in the 50-over format.
