3. Donovan Ferreira

Maxwell is currently injured, and there is uncertainty around his participation in the initial set of games. If he doesn't recover, they might have to play Jacks out of position, given that the top 3 are fixed. In such a scenario, Ferreira would have suited Babgalore better as he is a natural finisher and could have slotted in at six while allowing the likes of Lomror and Shahbaz to bat higher up.

2. Yash Thakur

Yash Thakur  has picked up 55 wickets in 37 T20 games at an average of less than 15 while conceding at less than 6.7. These are extraordinarily good numbers, and RCB could have taken a chance on him and invested in him as a long-term project. He was sold for 45 Lakh to LSG, and they had 1.75 crore left in the bank.

1. Sanvir Singh

In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022, he scored 119 runs in 5 innings and had a strike rate of 205.17. He is a traditional finisher, and his main hitting zones are in front of the wicket, and doesn’t usually play innovative shots. Bangalore  did buy a domestic finisher and pace-bowling all-rounder in the form of Manoj Bhandage, but it certainly wouldn’t have hurt them to buy another, given that Sanvir was quite affordable.
