5. Hari Nishaanth

Chennai picked Hari Nishaanth in the mega auction for the Indian T20 League 2022. But, he couldn’t get a chance in a single game throughout the entire season. Now, Chennai have released him ahead of the mini-auction for the 2023 edition. In domestic T20s, Nishaanth has scored 652 runs in 30 matches. So, he can be a good Indian option at the top for any team for the next season.

4. Jason Roy

The England opener, Jason Roy hasn’t had a much bright career in the Indian T20 League so far. In last season, he couldn’t appear for Gujarat as he pulled out due to personal reasons. The franchise have released Roy ahead of the mini-auction for the 2023 edition. But, his explosive batting abilities can boost any team's top-order in the next season. 

3. Evin Lewis

The Caribbean southpaw was picked by the new entrants Lucknow in the auction for the 2022 edition of the Indian T20 League. Although Lewis could feature only in five innings for Lucknow. In these five appearances, he scored only 73 runs, at an average of 24.33. But, his six-hitting abilitioes at the top can make him a great choice for several franchices for the next season.

2. Narayan Jagadeesan

Narayan Jagadeesan made his first appearance for Chennai in the Indian T20 League two years back in 2020. Since then, he has played only seven matches. He scored 73 runs with an average of 24.33. Recently, he got released ahead of the mini-auction. Currently, he has managed five consecutive hundreds in Vijay Hazare Trophy. So, he can be a player to watch out in the next edition.

1. Mayank Agarwal

Agarwal enjoyed two brilliant seasons in Indian T20 League for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021. Considering that performance and his experience, franchises might go to claim the Karnataka batter with a big amount in the upcoming mini-auction for the next season of the Indian T20 League.
