5. Bobby Roode

Roode suffered an injury in 2021 and hasn’t returned to the ring, since. Roode was, recently, seen wearing  Canada's football jersey in a photo shoot during the FIFA World Cup 2022. It has been understood that the shoot took place at SmackDown show. It shouldn’t come as a surprise if he makes a return at the Royal Rumble 2023. 

4.  Logan Paul

Logal Paul took everyone by surprise after he made a surprise entry at WrestleMania 38, SummerSlam 2022, and Crown Jewel 2022 with his impressive in-ring skills.  Sadly, in a bout with Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel 2022. He tore his ALC and didn’t make his presence felt in the ring, since. 

3. Randy Orton

Randy Orton is hailed as one of the biggest WWE superstars of all time. He has been able to make an impact for over two decades and thus boasts a huge fan following. He was enjoying his time while teaming up with Matt Riddle until he suffered a back injury and underwent surgery. Randy Orton is also tipped to be making his return to the Royal Rumble 2023. 

2. Cody Rhodes

 Cody Rhodes has become a household name in the WWE world. His bout with Dave Meltzer also received a five-star rating. However,  Rhodes suffered torn a pectoral muscle back in June and hasn’t made any appearance, since.

There have been a lot of speculations going on with regard to Dwayne Johnson making his return to the WWE ring in 2023. He is tipped to be locking horns with his cousin Roman Reigns in his comeback match. However, nothing has been officially confirmed as yet
