5. Yuvraj Singh & Andrew Flintoff

Yuvraj Singh hitting six sixes to Stuart Broad is one of the most iconic moments in the history of the 20-20 World Cup. But before smashing Stuart Broad to all parts of the ground, Singh was involved in a heated argument with Andrew Flintoff which got the former heated up.

4. S Sreesanth & Mathew Hayden

S Sreesanth was part of India’s squad for the 2007 20-20 World Cup. His best performance came in the semi-final match against Australia. In a high-scoring game, he conceded only 12 runs in the first two overs against an aggressive duo of Adam Gilchrist and Mathew Hayden.

3. Marlon Samuels & Ben Stokes

In 2016 20-20 World Cup, Samuels came onto to bat as early as in the second over. West Indies had lost 3 wickets and were lacking confidence. However, it was Ben Stokes’ comment which fired up Marlon Samuels as he went on to play one of the best knocks of his career.

2. Lahiru Kumara & Liton Das

Amidst all the heart-warming performances in the 20-20 World Cup 2021, there were also some heated altercations between the players. On top of the list was Sri Lakan pacer, Lahiru Kumara’s verbal spat with Liton Das.

1. Haris Rauf & Bas de Leede

Playing their third match in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022, Pakistan earned their first win with a 6-wicket win against the Netherlands at Perth. The match, however, will fondly be remembered for Haris Rauf bowling a nasty bouncer to Bas de Leede.
