Apart from his poor run of form in the current edition of the 20-20 World Cup, KL Rahul has been a vital factor for team India in this quick format of the game. Currently, the Karnataka batter is serving as the vice-captain of the side across  formats. He also led the Lucknow team in the 2022 edition of the Indian T20 League.

In the limited matches Rishabh Pant  featured for India, he has shown his class as a batter. The wicket-keeper batter also led the Indian team in the past and have done reasobly well. The star and celebrated all-rounder in the Indian team, Hardik Pandya has proved his worth in the middle. He led the Men in Blue against Ireland and was phenomenal in the series and courtesy to which, he earned the right to captain India against New Zealand in November. He also won the Indian T20 League as captain of Gujarat.
