Hardik Pandya is currently busy playing the ongoing three-match ODI series at home against Australia for team India. Rohit Sharma missed the series opener of the series in Mumbai. Hence, Pandya was given captaincy duties and he led the Men in Blue to a five-wicket victory. But, in the second match, India suffered a humiliating 10-wicket loss at the hands of the Aussies in Vizag.

Hardik Pandya had a horrible game with both the bat and the ball. India got bundled out for just 117 runs while batting first. In reply, Australia chased down the target in just 11 overs with all 10 wickets in the hand. Pandya scored just one run and failed to take any wicket with the ball. But, an image from the match has gone viral where Hardik Pandya gets trolled for wearing a black hairband.

Both Aussie openers hit all Indian bowlers all over the place as they scored 121 for no wicket in just 11 overs. Hardik Pandya bowled only one over where he conceded 18 runs. Mitchell Marsh smacked three sixes in that over. Seeing such a performance from the star all-rounder, fans trolled him and compared him with the former team India pacer, Ashok Dinda. The former pacer has always been criticised for leaking runs at a high rate throughout his career. Dinda took retirement from all forms of cricket in 2021. 

He played 13 ODIs and grabbed 12 wickets, at an economy of 6.18 and an average of 51. Apart from it, he played nine T20Is and grabbed 17 wickets. But, Dinda’s average was 14.41 while the economy was 8.16. Dinda used to play with a hairband on his head always while playing a match. So, fans came up with a comparison between him and Hardik Pandya after seeing the star allrounder getting hammered by the Aussie batters.
