The Australian team is placed in Pool C where they will compete with France, Belgium, and Germany for the finals on September 13-18 in Hamburg.

Speaking of the other members of the Australian team, then this list includes the likes of Thanasi Kokkinakis, Alexei Popyrin, and Jason Kuble. Apart from these three, the champions of the Wimbledon men’s doubles competition, Matt Ebden, and Max Purcell will be a part of Australia’s six-man team.

Notably, the Aussie side was eliminated at the group stage last year, they are now competing for their 29th Davis Cup title, and also it will be their first since 2003.

Coming back to Nick Kyrgios, then he has performed exceptionally well in a recent couple of months. The Canberra-based star made it to the headlines when the legendary tennis player Rafael Nadal withdrew his name from the Wimbledon 2022 due to an abdominal strain. It eventually helped Kyrgios in straight entry to the final as his semi-final was scheduled against Rafael Nadal.

As Kyrgios reached the finals, everybody was keen to see how tough he could be for the Serbian veteran Novak Djokovic. Eventually, Kyrgios lost the match but marked his arrival in the world of Tennis.
