On the other hand, Odisha was there in the middle with the same lineup of 4-3-3. Although, the OFC dominated the ball possession with 51% but eventually, they ended on the wrong side of the match.

So, it was Mumbai City who took all three points home and registered their first win in the tournament. Now, Mumbai is placed second in the standing of the ISL 2022 just after Hyderabad who are there at the top spot with the highest number of goals scored.

Mehtab Singh was adjudged ‘hero of the match for his stellar defensive performance for the hosts whereas Mumbai won the club award for registering an emphatic victory against OFC.

Talking about Odisha, they are now in the seventh spot in the points table with a win and a loss to their name in the ninth season of the tournament.

Now, ATK Mohun Bagan will face Kerala Blasters FC in the ninth match of the season tomorrow on the 16th of October.
