Thus, Alejandro Garnacho was at the receiving end on social media as he went on to call Cristiano Ronaldo the greatest. It all started when the Manchester United star was named as a substitute in the club's game against Norwich. After the completion of the game, he was given the match ball by CR7 as the legendary Portuguese footballer scored his 50th club hat-trick. It was indeed a memorable moment for him.

The 17-year-old was absolutely delighted with this gesture, and took to Instagram to express his happiness. He posted a picture of him and Ronaldo. In his caption, he referred to the legend as the "Greatest of All Times".

"Greatest of all times…🐐🔥

Dream big, guys❤️ @cristiano ⚽️⚽️⚽️" read his caption. However, this didn't sit well with the fans. As he hails from Argentina, people expected him to be a Messi fan. Irrespective of him being from that part of the world, Garnacho has been a big fan of the United star.

“Porque todavía no jugaste con el mejor pa @leomessi,” read Aguero's reply. It roughly translates to “because you have not played with Lionel Messi yet.” Nevertheless, it is safe to call Garnacho a wonderboy. He has gone on to get a lot of appreciation at such a tender age. Thus, his debut for Argentina is eagerly awaited by a lot of people.
