In a recent and shocking piece of news for the online games, Google has decided to take back the battle royale game Battlegrounds Mobile India. It is also referred to as BGMI. After the fresh announcement it not be there on the play store anymore in India. It was decided after the Indian government went on to cut off the Chinese influence in the country.

Just a year after the BGMI was banned, Krafton went on to introduce another similar app with the title PUBG in the online gaming market of the subcontinent. Along with the Play Store, the BGMI game will also not be available on Apple’s App Store in entire India.

A Google spokesperson talked about this ban and the complete process during a recent statement.

“On receipt of the order, following established process, we have notified the affected developer. We have blocked access to the app that remained available on the Play Store in India,” said the Google spokesperson.

Krafton’s CEO in India Sean Hyunil Sohn also came up with a response in the subsequent process. He also opened up on the company’s stand over this incident.

“The game is extremely popular, and these issues come with the territory. We don’t know the details of the fraud and how it was committed, but these are extreme cases. We constantly work towards securing a safe gameplay experience for users,” said Hyunil Sohn to TechCrunch.

Almost a year back, due to the bitter nodes between India and China, a lot of affairs got affected either on trade grounds or anything else.

Responding to the whole incident, the embassy of China in India criticized the authorities in the beginning of this month.

“Frequent investigations” into the local units of the phone makers and warned that such moves “impede the improvement of business environment” in India and “chills the confidence and willingness” of other foreign nation’s businesses to invest and operate in the South Asian nation,” says an official statement from the embassy.
