Coming back to Harmanpreet Kaur’s captaincy record. She has captained the Indian women’s team in 71 T20I matches. In these matches, India won a record number of 42 matches along with 26 defeats and three matches ended without any result.

Whereas, former men’s skipper Dhoni led the Indian team to the first ever title win in the T20 World Cup of 2007. He won 41 matches for India out of 72 matches, one less than that of Kaur. Following Dhoni’s reign as a captain of India, Virat Kohli led the team in 50 matches and registered 30 wins with 16 defeats.
