Complete Schedule for the Day 1 of the Commonwealth Games 2022

One of the biggest carnivals of sports Commonwealth Games is back for the ardent sports lovers. The 22^nd edition of the games is set to kick off tomorrow i.e., July 28 (Thursday). England’s city of Birmingham is hosting this upcoming edition of the Commonwealth Games. The opening ceremony of the events will begin at 4 AM on Friday according to the Indian standard time.

The first day of the games will be packed up with sports including the likes of hockey, women’s cricket, and badminton taking center. The women’s cricket team of India will lock horns with the world champion Australian team on July 29 (Friday). Whereas the women’s hockey team of India will square off against Ghana to start their campaign.

Notably, the Indian contingent bagged a total of 66 medals at the Commonwealth Games 2018 on Gold Coast. This tally of Indians included 26 gold medals. They will be definitely eyeing to increase the number of medals and color of the medals this time.
