Young all-rounder Riyan Parag has attracted the eyeballs of Indian cricket fans with his sensational performance in the ongoing elite group B match between Assam and Hyderabad. Both teams are playing this match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The hosts’ skipper Tanmay Agarwal won the flip of the coin and decided to bowl first.
Coming back to the Guwahati-based young right-hander, he smashed 78 runs off 28 balls with eight boundaries and six maximums to his name. On the back of Riyan Parag’s knock, Hyderabad managed to score 182 runs for the loss of six wickets at the time of stumps on day 2 of the match.

Although Riyan Parag has quite a bit good numbers to his name in First-Class cricket as he has scored 1154 runs in 32 innings of the 19 matches, he played so far. Riyan has a good batting average of 36.06 with a century and nine half-centuries to his name.
Talking about the update of the ongoing match between Assam and Hyderabad, the former has taken the lead of 179 runs in the second innings. Earlier in the first innings, Hyderabad posted a total of 208 runs in response to Assam’s 205 runs of the first innings to take a minor lead of 3 runs. Rohit Rayudu and Bhagath Varma of Hyderabad played the knock of 60 and 46 runs to help the hosts to reach a total of 208 runs.
Currently, the action of the third day’s play is under action between both teams.
