Much to the dreariness of the Indian fans, Mohammed Shami was ruled out of the series due to an injury and fans claimed that it was an unfortunate situation for team India as they will play without their two prime bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah and Shami.

Eventually, the pacer took to his Twitter account to open up on the same and claimed that he would make a comeback for team India at the earliest and stronger than before. Umran Malik, the young pace sensation, was added to the squad as the replacement for the veteran pacer.

“Injury, in general, teaches you to appreciate every moment. I’ve had my share of injuries throughout my career. It’s humbling. It gives you perspective. No matter how many times I’ve been hurt, I’ve learned from that injury and come back even more stronger,” Shami tweeted.

‘Dear Mohammed Shami, it is called Karma’

As things stand, fans took a dig at the pacer and reminded him of his tweet that he tweeted earlier when Pakistan lost to England in the 20-20 World Cup 2022. For the unversed, Shami tweeted “Sorry brother. It’s call karma,” in reply to Shoaib Akthar’s tweet, when the latter posted a heartbreak emoji post the Men in Green’s humbling loss in the summit clash.

Pakistani fans, on the other hand, left no stone unturned to troll the player and eventually reminded him of his tweet, indirectly hinting at his actions which resulted in his injury. Leaving trolls aside, Shami would look to make a roaring comeback for team India and would hope to get fit prior to the 50-over World Cup.
