Indian team will begin their campaign with the new jersey in the upcoming 20-20 World Cup 2022. Notably, Indians will play the first match of their campaign in the marquee tournament against the arch-rivals Pakistan.

Other than the men in green, the Indian team will also face South Africa and Bangladesh in their group. The men in blue will be eyeing to end their drought of a title win in the tournament since their triumph in the inaugural edition of the tournament 15 years back in the year 2007.

Coming back to the discussion of Virat Kohli, then he has recently made a stellar comeback in his form with the bat. The 33-year-old smashed a swashbuckling century against Afghanistan in India’s last super-4 match in the recently-concluded Asia Cup 2022. Other than this, he also finished the tournament as the second highest run-scorer just behind the star Pakistani batter Mohammad Rizwan.
